Isely "USC is an awesome place to study theatre in all aspects. Because the USC film school is the #1 film school in the country and the theatre school works so closely with the film school, the probability of success of an actor from USC is higher than anywhere else in California. If anyone is interested in USC Theatre they can email me and find out about it. All of the professors and lecturers for the theatre school are working professionally at the same time in acting, design, directing, everything. It is a wonderful place to build connections and establish yourself." Jeff Paul Benj Thall

Massachusetts "Boston University's program is ever improving. One of the best schools in the country for a Bachelors in Acting. Their Theatre Studies major is also top dog. The conservatory program's Acting majors keep long hours (generally 9 am to 11 pm with only 2 breaks) with rehearsals even on Saturdays. Don't expect to see a lot of Boston. The training and connections are exceptional with the Huntington Theatre Company in residence and links to Williamstown Theatre Festival. Training includes Linklater vocal technique, Shakespeare training with nationally renowned directors, Restoration and Jacobean training at London Academy of Dramatic Arts, Alexander Technique, and much more. Four years conclude with Showcases in Boston, New York, and L.A. Downsides: only forty applicants accepted a year into a "performing arts" major, following freshman year students are "directed" into either the Acting track or the Theatre Studies track. As with any school, Faculty and Administrative politics can be quite annoying." New York New York
