YAE takes on its first Shakespeare! Follow four teens and a ragtag band of wanna-be actors
into the woods one midsummer night where they will encounter meddling, mischievous, and magical Fairies!

Performances take place at Fridays, May 1, 8 and 15 at 7:30pm; Saturdays, May 2, 9, and 16 at 2:00pm AND 7:30pm;

Frequently Asked Questions about Auditions

Audition preparation:
Please prepare a one-minute memorized monologue or poem (preferably Shakespeare but not required; samples above).
Auditions will last 1 hour and 45 minutes and may include improvisation, cold reading, or movement.

Actors auditioning for A Midsummer Night's Dream must be at least age 10 and not yet 20 by May 17, 2015.

Callbacks:
Callbacks will be held Monday, March 9th from 5:00-9:00pm.

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals held: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00-7:00pm, & Sat 9:00am-1:00pm.

There is a $180 participation fee if cast; financial assistance is available.

All Cast and Parents must attend a mandatory welcome meeting
Wednesday, March 11 from 6:00-7:00pm.
